The zine that's a zine about zines!
The September of 2024 issue, BTZ #18 carries the theme of “Using Zines to Change the World.” I asked my contributors to consider this phrase when submitting articles, as we discuss who to use zines as a tool for positive influence. Articles include “It’s Not Up to Me To Decide,” by Todd Taylor, where he discusses the slogan and ethics of Razorcake Magazine, an interview with Rich Larios, of Feral Comics, “Stitch by Stitch,” by Heather Andhercats, in which she discusses her zine-making workshops, and so much more. Several zine-review-zines have stopped publishing recently, so this issue has more zine reviews than normal, including contributions from Anna Gecko, Kris Mininger, and Davida Gypsy Brier.
